Well, you can check out Graphire WACOMs. They have less pressure sensitivity than compared to Intuos. But if you like to touch up photos and do artwork from time to time then it's a great tablet!
[link] Graphire4 site. It's only $99.95. But I've went down town and seen Graphire3 or Graphire2s for way less, you can get them for only around $30-50 and Wacoms work GREAT. Or check out ebay, I seen them go for way less too. One up now for only $23. Good luck in finding yours! Don't let the money barrier stop you from finding a cheap one that works great.

Another brand besides wacom is E3works. This one has double the sensitivity of Graphire, equal to Intuos. And it's only $59.99! [link]

I wish I knew you more back in like Feb because I sold my old for only 30 bucks. I think I asked Zack to ask you if you needed it though.
